About Savannah
I am a licensed mental health counseling associate (LMHCA) who can practice psychotherapy or diagnose mental illness with supervision in Washington State. I opened and run this private practice and am contracted with Mindful Therapy Group. I utilize an integrative approach that uses a variety of evidence-based techniques and approaches that I tailor to your specific needs. These approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Attachment Theory and Psychoeducation. Using these modalities, personal interviews, assessments and other tools I am competent to assess, diagnose, and create an appropriate plan to meet and provide treatment that addresses all of your unique needs.
I have always been motivated to make positive changes in my community, I am a veteran and have an array of experience working within the social service field and criminal justice field before I focused on mental health counseling. Through my life experience, and integrative professional approach I will be able to meet any client where they are at with an open-minded and individualized approach to best assist with their therapeutic goals.
I am a LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist and passionate about working with people from all lifestyles (Kink/BDSM/Poly affirming as well). I enjoy working with both individuals and those seeking relationship or family therapy. I am very interested in working with those exploring the intersectionality of sex, race, and gender. I believe in fostering a sex positive atmosphere with open collaboration, so that clients can be better assisted in working on their goals and becoming more secure in their authentic self.
